Website redesign proposal for a recording studio in Lucerne. A navigable Next.js demo in four languages to show what the new site would look like before deciding.
Context
Studio_A is a creative music studio in Obernau, Lucerne, resident at Soundfarm and run by Anna Murphy. We prepared a complete redesign proposal for its website as a navigable demo.
The challenge
The studio's current website does not live up to its space or its photography. We wanted to show, with a working demo rather than a mock-up, how a site with photography at the centre, careful typography and four languages from day one would look.
The work
- 01Complete proposal in Next.js with Tailwind, internationalisation in the four languages of the studio's audience, image gallery with a lightbox, accessible menus, contact through Mailjet, a static, lightweight site ready to deploy anywhere if the studio adopts it.
Outcome
A navigable demo, not a sketch, that the studio can see and try before deciding. It shows how we approach web design, with photography at the centre, careful typography, several languages from day one and a site that weighs little. Although they did not accept the proposal because they have their own way of working, they have carried part of what we proposed into their own system.
