Custom ERP for Metaideas, an importer of promotional gifts. Clients, suppliers, proposals, purchase orders, shipments and invoicing on a single platform, with a catalogue and a purchasing portal.
Context
Metaideas imports and sells promotional products and corporate gifts. We built its custom management system for the whole cycle, with clients, suppliers, samples, proposals, purchase orders, shipments, invoicing and expense control, plus a public catalogue with a purchasing portal for its clients.
The challenge
The business combines international trade, transport, customs and financing. Every proposal to a client requires calculating import costs with many variables, and the team was working with old PHP tools and spreadsheets. It all had to be unified on a single platform without slowing down daily operations.
The work
- 01Monorepo in Next.js 15, React 19 and TypeScript with Prisma and PostgreSQL.
- 02Admin panel with the proposal lifecycle, invoicing and import cost calculation, charts and PDF reports.
- 03Public catalogue and purchasing portal consuming the same API.
- 04Browser extension and supplier stock import via XML.
- 05Files on S3 and MinIO.
Outcome
The platform is in daily use for quoting, purchasing and invoicing. The team works on a single system instead of three tools and loose spreadsheets.
