100% offline emergency preparedness app
Emergency preparedness app that works 100% offline, with inventory, checklists, downloadable maps and an offline library. On the App Store in four languages.

Context
Atlas Vault is a fully offline app for managing an inventory with expiry dates, checklists, downloadable maps and an offline documentation library. Published on the App Store in four languages.
The challenge
Everything has to work without a network. Maps, a library of several gigabytes, a local database and in-app purchases must be reliable without depending on a server. There are also ZIM files, the offline Wikipedia format, on the phone with no libraries available.
The work
- 01Expo with a local SQLite database, downloadable maps from OpenStreetMap and OpenTopoMap, a native ZIM reader in Swift, and RevenueCat with a seven-day trial or a lifetime licence.
- 02Lightweight backend for the content catalogue and the admin panel.
Outcome
Published on the App Store with an offline-first architecture, a native ZIM library reader and a completed security review. The app works entirely without a connection, including maps, routes and documentation.
